“Not Broke? Then don't try to fix it.”
Don't be afraid to hold a regular full-time job while being a business owner. There is nothing wrong with doing this. Especially if your company, practice, business, or whatever is doing well and already successful. As long as you enjoy your job and it's not too much to handle alongside running your own business. Then by all means continue doing what works for you. Why would you change things?
In other words: Iif its not broke don’t t fix it.”
I know a guy who has been working as a full-time engineer for years with a nice cushy job, with benefits and big bucks - the whole, “kit and caboodle.” And the job he holds has nothing to do with his financial holding company (day trading business).
Quite frankly, and I am being very candid with you, because I have indeed seen it with my own eyes that he actually makes more money (ten times more daily) with his trading business (takes him literally minutes to make thousands of dollars a day) than his regular job. Obviously, it doesn’t take much for him to do this because he has already successfully set it up to be like that. However, indeed it took him many years to obtain these results, while still going to work every day - years of trial and error while implementing various techniques and strategies to reach his desired level he needed to become successful. Nevertheless, he continued to stay working his regular job, even while making that much more money with his business. Anyway, I believe that at one point he became frustrated with his full-time job and actually left for a brief time.
Believe it or not, during this shift in change regarding his professional life, things began to go downhill - yes you heard me correctly, down-hill. He was actually screwing-up his business due to overtrading with his day trading business. This occurred because the time he had usually spent working his full-time job he was letting his business do its thing (almost on autopilot) because he had this set up in accordance with his job. Things began to change very quickly, and as a result, he became impatient, bored at his home office, and overtraded causing financial difficulties. Things began to go wrong very quickly.
“If it's not broke, don't fix it.”
“Sometimes you are where you are for a reason.” Change is always happening, it's part of life, so notice what’s working or not working for you. And then go ahead and make the necessary changes. Make sure you continue to keep making the appropriate changes until you finally succeed.
Some people continue to ask, “How many times do I keep trying to make the correct change?” My response is “until you succeed. Period. “How many times are you seriously going to keep trying before you succeed?” Maybe three times, fifty tries, a hundred times, how about a thousand times?
It actually took Colonel Sanders of Kentucky Fried Chicken a thousand times before he finally succeeded. Whatever you do, “DO NOT” continue to keep doing what you have always done expecting different results. This is called insanity. It’s absolutely insane to continue doing what you have always done, while hoping, wishing, and expecting different results. You need to notice what's working or not working, (be aware) and then immediately (take action and continue to make the necessary changes until you finally succeed. During this time expect positive changes to happen, but always be prepared for the worst. In other words, have a “backup plan” if things you expect to happen do not manifest successfully in your life. You should even do
Go as far as having a backup plan for your backup plan.
You are in charge of your own life. Be happy with what you have already achieved. Continue to savor the moments when you succeed, and constantly strive to achieve your goals.
And as hard as it may be, don’t worry what others think or say about you, including all your haters. You're here for a short period of time, so don't be afraid to stretch yourself out - even a little at a time, until you are comfortable enough to stretch your neck out even more.
“And if you don’t have any cheerleaders, very few fans, or even no fans, you yourself can become your own best fan. This shows people that you believe in yourself. And if we believe in ourselves, others will also begin to believe in us.
